Please note that the attendance of the first or second representative of each EUSAAR partner is required. If you are unable to attend, please communicate your nominated proxy from within your institution to represent and vote on your behalf (a short email notice will be needed to confirm).
Venue:  The meeting will be held in the conference room of the Hotel Century Old Town, Na Porici 7, 11000 Prague 1, Czech Republic.
The hotel is easily accessible from the Metro station “Námestí republiky“. Get out using the escalator in direction “Námestí republiky“, take one of the exits on the right to get to the street level. Continue about 200 m on “ Na Porící“, the hotel is located on the left-hand side. For more details on public transport, please check the travel info below.

Meals:  Lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday will be taken in the hotel restaurant and will cost 14 € (350 CZK) for the lunch menu, or 27 € (700 CZK) for the buffet, excluding drinks. Lunch for those participating in the excursion to Kosetice on Thursday will be arranged (details will follow).

The organized dinner will take place at the U zlaté Konvice restaurant (at the Old Town Square, opposite of the famous Old Town Horologe, ~15 min walk from the hotel). Please make sure have the exact amount with you in order to pay for it during registration (35 EUR or 900 CZK).
Excursion:  ICPF will organize a 1-day trip to the Kosetice Observatory Kosetice Observatory, about 100 km southeast of Prague. The Kosetice observatory is a GAW and EMEP station and is operated by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI). It was established in 1988 as a station specialising in the problems of background environmental quality monitoring.
Travel Info:  Public transport and tickets:
The basic ticket costs 26 CZK if bought in advance and is valid for 75 minutes in Metro, trams and buses (90 min during weekend), you can change a line or means of transport as needed. The tickets can be bought in ticket machines (next to metro entrance or bus or tram stops), newspaper stands, or special public transport company shops. In transport company shops, there are also 24 hour, 3 days or 5 days tickets available (there is one at “Dejvická” station corridor next to station). The Metro operates from 5 till 24h, the trams operate from 5 till 24 h regularly (from 24 till 5h night trams operate downtown, having numbers from 50 to 59).

It may happen that some public transport is not available on certain days. In this case please follow the updated information which is being displayed.

Warning: Be careful about your private belongings, especially due to pick pocket thefts on public transport and around the historical centre.

From the airport:
The Prague international airport Ruzyne is located about 15 km from the city center. It takes 30-40 min to reach the center on public transport (30/50 CZK) or by taxi (500-600 CZK). There is a Public Transport Information booth at the airport in order to buy a ticket (can be bought on the bus for 30 CZK). To get to the conference venue from the Prague airport you have the following options:

Bus line 119:
Take the bus No. 119 from Prague Airport to its terminal station "Dejvická" ("Vítezné námestí" square, interval 10 min, it takes about 20 min and operates from 5-24 h daily). From Dejvická, take the Metro green line A to "Mustek" station and there change again to Metro yellow line B. Go one stop in direction “Cerný most” to station “Námestí republiky“.

Airport microbus CEDAZ service:
The white microbuses (8 or 12 seats) depart during day time every half an hour (they operate from 7:30-19h) to "Dejvická Station", the price of a 8-seat bus is 90 CZK/person. Change to the Metro green line A and follow the instructions above.

Airport taxi service:
AAA yellow taxis (English speaking operators) can be ordered at tel. nos.: (+420) 14014 or (+420) 222333222. The price for a taxi AAA from the airport to the Conference site should be ~500-600 CZK. Within the city centre, we also recommend using AAA which provides a reliable service.

Alternatively, you may take:
Bus line 100:
Take the bus to "Zlicín" station, Metro yellow line B (16 min). The bus runs every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes after 7 p.m. From Zlicín, take the metro to "Namesti Republik" station (20 min). This route is generally longer but a sometimes better during rush hour.

From the railway stations:

Main Railway Station ("Hlavní nádraží"):
By Metro red line C in direction “Letnany” to “Florenc” station, change to Metro yellow line B in direction “Zlicín”. Go one stop to “Námestí republiky“ station.

Railway station "Praha Holešovice":
By Metro red line C in direction “Háje” to “Florenc” station,change to Metro yellow line B in direction “Zlicín”. Go one stop to “Námestí republiky“ station. Another possibility is to take tram No. 14 and go to stop “Námestí republiky“.
