An important goal of EUSAAR is to improve accessibility to European monitoring data and to provide users with better tools to extract information from archiving systems.

The advanced aerosol database is hosted and maintained by NILU and is based on the already existing EMEP database.

The first version of the official database will be opened in September 2007.
